This hurricane cam has been downgraded to a sky cam.

Current status 3:48am Wed:
Power outage in central Ormond Beach, power in north Ormond Beach
Power outage is getting more frequent and longer. We are a facility capable of running on generators for one month. We are capable of giving you a live feed as long the connection to the phone company does not get disrupted or our cam does not get hit by lightning.

Current status 7:30 - 7:53 am Wed:
Main power line down in north Ormond Beach and now on generator.

Current status 8:53 - 9:30 pm Wed:
Back on regular power. Regular power has been on for the last 7 hours but power is never certain since FPL is fixing their whole system.
This cam was intended to be a beach hurricane cam but since tropical force winds tend to move dish alignments and the beachside had no power for at least a day a second cam was set up pointing south into Daytona Beach. The second cam was setup quickly so we could not fine tune the camera and I was not willing to be standing on a 80 ft.tower during rain and wind to fine tune it last night.
Advanced Cable will move the camera back to the beach for your enjoyment and check http://www.realacom.com to what new web page or website this live feed will be found on.

Current status 4:53 pm Thurs:
It is a sunny and almost a hot day like normal Florida.

Note: Since their are no street lights where camera is pointed you currently have a black picture except for a light in the lower left hand corner of the live feed.
